Can anyone rent a cottage for a self-catering break?

The usual rule is the at least one person in the group must be an adult aged 18 or over.

When booking a holiday cottage, the responsible adult signs a contract between themselves and the cottage owner or management company. When a booking is made in the name of a club, the entire club is held responsible for the accommodation. If one member of the club decides to take home a towel as a souvenir then the club will be asked to pay for it. For this reason, it is important that each member of the group understands that they each share the responsibility.
